I planned to use Raya’s search for Sisu as a metaphor for searching for hope when depressed.
Please excuse me while I go vomit– that’s SO corny, Catie.
What I do want to say is, I admire Raya and her determination to find Sisu. I think many in her situation would’ve given up.

Giving up is so much easier than doing pretty much anything when you’re depressed and anxious.
And corny metaphor aside, there is hope.
There’s light at the end of the tunnel, or Sisu at the end of the last river.
Oh goodness, I used the metaphor anyway. I can’t help it!
So, if you are struggling to find hope just remember to keep looking. Ask for help if you need to.
Do whatever you can to keep searching for your version of Sisu.

Because you are worth it.
